      Hi 2cvenus,
Our skin has elastin fibres and collagen which helps to keep it strong and elastic. As we age, we lose this elastin and collagen which makes our skin thinner & less able to keep in moisture. Also, the fat in the subcutaneous layer that gives skin a plump appearance begins to disappear, and all these things cause the skin to sag and develop wrinkles.
      Thanks for your question 🙂

      Hi 2cvenus!

On top of the collagen and fat becoming less, we also have used out skin a lot by the time we’re older – and all that laughing and frowning starts to show!

      🙂 Sarah
