• Question: why do we get annoyed at people? like what is it that triggers it?

      Hi grace1d!

      Millions of years ago, feeling really annoyed had the purpose of alerting an individual to the danger of an enemy attack! So if someone really rubbed you up the wrong way it was a good way for you to react and get you ready to counter-attack and harm or kill them! This had obvious survival value.

      Today however, direct attacks by enemies you need to kill to survive are not very common, but we can still get annoyed quite often!
