• Question: Why do we find it difficult to memorise things?

      Hi kyranight!

      Memories are patterns in our brain, and out brain can’t pattern everything – so it prioritises the really important things! So unless we repeatedly study something, the brain won’t prioritise it and won’t keep it because it’ll think it’s not important enough.
      So studying in small chunks and repeating helps!
