      Hi chiarasdfghjklx,

When terrible things happen to people – for example if they experience living in a war, or survive a terrible accident – then the memories stay with them and they can get very worried about these things happening again. They may also get bad dreams and get very tired if they can’t sleep as a result. So they may have got through it unharmed, but the worry about it will make them sick!

      Hope this helps!

      Hi chiarasdfghjklx,
Our brains are hardwired to remember things better when we are stressed so unfortunately if something very stressful or traumatic happens to us, we will remember it very well and may keep reliving it even when the event is over.
This is why some people get post-traumatic stress disorder, but thankfully there are some very handy treatments for this.
      Thanks for the question! 🙂
