• Question: What is the most strangest reaction you have ever had while mixing chemicals?

      Hi 10rc. Thats quite a hard question to answers. The majority of reactions I do don’t work! and the ones that work, do what I expect them to.But I did have one last year when I was using my blue LED’s, I put some sucrose (sugar) into a flask and shone blue light on it for a day. When I came back I had made something called Furan, which is chemical used to make lots of things like plastics and coatings. I had no idea how it had happened and I was really excited for about a week because I thought I had discovered something amazing, until someone told me they had done it already and it was not very useful. That was a sad day. 🙁
