  That’s a very interesting question! I’m not really sure I can answer it very well, but I’ll give it a go!
  The earth is a sphere (3D circle) but because it is so big, no matter where we are on standing on it, it always looks flat. London and Australia are not really at the top & bottom of the earth – that would be the Artic and Antarctica but I guess if you drilled a hole from one side of the earth all the way through the centre and out the other side & you could look down that hole and see the other side, then the people would probably look like they are walking upside down relative to you.
