Not really as I’m happy with how things have worked out for me, but I do advise others what to do differently to me if they are wanting to progress in their career. E.g. go abroad for expereince – but I’d hate to do that myself.

      Hi gpap08, that’s a good question!
Although I love my job & the science I study, I did always want to be an evolutionary ecologist when I was at university. That would mean I would be studying why animals (and humans) behave the way they do. I have always had two loves – neuroscience and evolution and when I was applying for my PhD it just so happened I got accepted onto a neuroscience course rather than carrying on studying evolutionary ecology. But I don’t regret this choice at all, & I still get to read lots about evolution in my spare time 🙂

Hi gpap08, I’m really happy with how things have worked out! But it would have been nice at times to know I’m on the right track, and have more confidence with things like exams, which I get quite stressed about.

Hi again gpap08. No I don’t think I would change anything. There are lots of things I could have done better like exams, reports and putting more time into my homework! But Im very happy with what I do and hope I can continue doing it for a long time to come!
