• Question: is it a myth or true that a golfishes memory only last for 3 seconds?

      I believe its a myth – I think its nearer 3 months in reality

      It’s a terrible lie, goldfish are actually about as smart as mice – here’s a news article on the experiments that were published om how clever they actually are, and why.

      We had 3 goldfish in our office when I was working on my doctorate – actually in St Andrews. Another lie about goldfish is that they only live for two years. You see, these same three now live with friends of mine, and I bought them over SIX years ago!!!
