      Hi matteo. The current population of china, calculated by extrapolation from the last census in 2011 is about 1.35 billion people. Thats 1,340,000,000 which is about 1/5 fo the worlds population.

      Nobody knows exactly! It’s a huge country, and in many villages new babies and deaths aren’t officially registered anywhere, so all we can do is estimate – which Will has done above!
