Hiya popz123, its recommended that teenagers get between 8.5 and 9.5 hours of sleep, and yes it can be bad if you don’t get enough. For starters its simply more difficult to concentrate if you’re tired, but worse than that it is now thought that not getting enough sleep over a long period of time can actually increase your chances of getting depression, and even diseases like diabetes, cardiovascular problems and cancer.
