• Question: how long did you guys stay in university for?

      Hi Joiceyjoice. I have been at university for 7 years … and im still going! I have another year until I finish my PhD.I doesn’t always take that long but I did two masters degrees before this, which not everyone does. Hopefully when I finish I will get a job in the real world! Thanks for your question.

      I went to bath Uni for 4 years – although one of those I spent working in Cardiff, then I went to Cambridge and was a student there for another 4 years.

      Hi joiceyjoice! I went to uni as a student for 4 years, then I worked in a lab in Japan and then in St Andrews, Scotland. That job was for 3 years, at a university, and that’s how I got my PhD. I’ve been working at the Univeristy in Edinburgh for 4 years. So all together that’s quite a lot! But only 4 years as a studying student. Are you planning to go to university?

      Hi joiceyjoice!
      I was at university for 8 years: 3 years for my undergraduate degree, 1 year for my masters degree and 4 years for my PhD. I still work in a university, so I guess technically it’s 9 years, but I’m not a student anymore!
