Hi Nienie13! I am about halfway through my research at the moment. I have just made some new catalysts, using a metal called ruthenium, that can be used to make some new molecules which could be used for new medicines. Making medicines is usually quite a long sequence of chemical reactions, each one puts in different atoms to make the shape needed for the medicine to work in our bodies. At the moment this produces a lot of waste and uses lots of energy. So my research is trying to find new ways of making them that does not produce waste and uses less energy. Thanks for your question!
