      Hiya Ellie, well 1st off you got to get your head around how you get colour in your hair (that you’ve NOT added from a bottle!).
      As you’re hair grows from the tube of cells that makes the hair, called the hair follicle, there are cells that add a pigment or colour to the hair. This pigment is called melanin and makes the hair brown, blonde red etc.
      With age, these pigment cells in the hair follicle die off, so the hair grows without having the colour added and thats when it looks grey.
