  Hiya Meg – I deodorant works by making the enviroment difficult for bacteria to grow. Often by changing the Ph and no bateria means no nasty smells – antipersperants are different – they work by blocking the poors in the skin to stop you seating and a dry enviroment stops the bacteria growing so again no smells.

Thanks always wanted to know! How do they get it to smell nice? Is body spray the same?

they add chemicals for the nice smell and yes body spray the same I believe
