• Question: Can people become immune to cancer?

      Hi aleks727,

      No, because there are lots of different types of cancer! Also cancer is actually cells in your body dividing uncontrollably – your own cells, not foreign ones. Immunity involves your body recognising foreign cells and viruses and fighting them off.
      But it would be good if we could find ways to identify cancer cells as foreign and fight them using immunity and vaccines! Lots more science to be done here!
