      Hi kayleigh99!

Great question! Bed (or dust) mites are so small, that they live in tiny little cracks and even bewteen the weave of fabrics. Because they are so small, the pressure they experience from us is actually very little, because pressure is force per area (p = F / A), so if we lie down and apply pressure to our sheet on the bed, only a tiny bit of force acts on each little bit of area!

So they hardly even notice. And they’re also very tough!

      🙂
