      Hi james4pluto,

Fab question! Grass can help a cat’s digestion process by making it sick and making it throw up undigested things in its stomach. Wild cats nibble on grass blades after eating a dead mouse. Dead mice are fiddly things, and it is impossible for the cat to separate fur and bones from the meat, so it just gulps down the entire mouse. Once the meat has been digested only the hair and bones remain in the cat’s stomach. Eating grass makes the cat vomit, and this brings the grass back up, now neatly wrapped around undigested mouse parts!

      Hm, lovely…
      🙂
