Hiya Nienie – there are certainly things we can do to reduce our chances of getting cancer – the biggest being DONT SMOKE. The chemicals in smoke increases the chances of damaging your DNA and that’s what causes cancer (if the damage is in the right / wrong bit of DNA). Also eating heathly, getting lots of exercise and not getting over weight all reduce your chances but unfortunately there isn’t a 100% sure fire way of avaoiding cancer completely.
